Fluoride therapy includes deliverance of fluoride products topically i.e. application to the teeth surface or systematically i.e. mixed in water/ ingested in supplements to reduce or prevent dental decay that results in cavities.
Usually fluoride therapy is used topically through foams, gels, varnishes, water, toothpastes and mouth rinse to the teeth surface. In systemic delivery it is delivered through tablets or drops.
