This will help to get rid of the infection and to also reduce inflammation. You should take a teaspoon of the tincture and hold it in your mouth. You should gently swish it through the problematic area as long as you can. After that, you can swallow the tincture or spit the tincture.

Dealing With Toothache:

There are two strategies to deal with toothaches. These include removing the infection which causes the pain and then relieving the pain. Removing the infection and inflammation which is causing the pain can be the best cure for toothache. If you do not seek dental care and visit the dentist to cure it, the infection will come back eventually. This can set you up for advancing dental problems. The cavities present in the mouth need to be filled. Rotten and dead teeth need to be removed from the mouth.

If you are going to dentist to remove and infection, the dentist will wait till your infection is gone and then treat you. The dentist will also prescribe an antibiotic to fight the infection. You can use some herbs to cure it instead of the antibiotics.

Abscessed Tooth:

An abscessed tooth happens when the swelling and inflammation is progressing from your tooth to other parts of your face. This can be really life- threatening. You need to go to dentist to cure this as self treatment is not possible in this case.

Remedies:

You can use an astringent wash and this can be very helpful as a first defense when you detect toothaches in the early stages. Astringents are antiseptic and help to shrink the swollen tissue in your mouth. Astringent washes can be used along with the antibiotics and it can also be of some help in the maintenance of healthy gums. You should not swallow an astringent mouthwash. This can lead to stomach upset.

Astringents will not help you to remove the pain directly. However, they will help dampen the fire within. You could use willow tincture for some toothaches. This will act as an astringent and a topical analgesic to relieve pain. You can use anti bacterial and this can help you in coping the infections. You can't just take analgesic herbs alone for curing a toothache. This could be disastrous. This could lead to further bone degradation.
