  1. Type one:

    This type of dental infection generally occurs in the living soft-pulp tissue within the tooth. Tooth decay usually occurs by this type of dental infection. Sadly, for this type of infection, there are no medicines, such as antibiotics that can help to fight against bacteria and other infections. This infection is extremely painful.

  2. Type two:

    Another type of dental infection occurs generally when the infection is within the bone at the end of the tooth. Unlike the type one dental infection mentioned above, the antibodies and WBC (white blood cells) are able to reach the infected area of the bone and can help to fight against the infection. If an infected individual is relatively healthy, the her or his immune system can also helps to fight against the infection along with assistance of antibiotics and medicines. However, in many instances, the infection wins, as it feeds off the surrounding tissue and causes the surrounding bone tissue death.

  3. Type three:

    This is the last type of dental infection which occurs inside the gum the line and gums. Many times, individuals with this type of dental infection, that is also referred to as gum infection, then she or he is also referred to as periodontist. The infection can be fought by our own antibodies and WBC (white blood cells), as well as with medications such as specific antibiotics.
