What are the Natural Denture Cleaners

Natural denture cleaners are not only healthy but they are also much cheaper. Natural cleaners are made using common household products. They easily remove the stains and kill the germs and are very effective. One can use them to whiten the dentures safely without causing any deterioration to the dentures.

Following are the Natural Denture cleaners

  • Lemon juice:

    It acts very effectively in cleaning the dentures. Lemon contains a compound which acts as a great bleaching power and helps the false teeth to look natural giving a brand new look. Add lemon juice in warm water and allow the dentures to sit for half-an-hour. However, make sure that the dentures are not in the warm water lemon mixture for more than half-an-hour, as it is harsh it can harm the dentures.

  • Vinegar:

    It helps to disinfect the dentures from all the germs including bacteria which build up during your daily activity. Use only white distilled vinegar as it helps to give the best results. Prepare a mixture by adding 1 teaspoon of vinegar in a cupful of warm water. Place the dentures in the mixture for overnight or about half-an-hour. Make sure to rinse the dentures just before wearing them as to avoid unpleasant taste.

  • Baking soda:

    It is known for its power to alleviate stubborn debris and for odour control. Add 2 teaspoon of baking soda in a cup of warm water and stir well until it is fully dissolved. Place the dentures in the solution for about 30 -45 minutes. You can also use the toothbrush to clean the dentures, if they are really dirty. This will effectively work to remove the debris and to whiten the teeth.
