Natural Remedies for Teething Pain in Dogs

There are many natural remedies for dog teething pain. They help to ease the pain and discomfort which are associated with teething. These remedies are easily available, easy, effective and safe to use. Some of the natural solutions are discussed bellow in these article.

These remedies are natural and are effective for dog teeth pain. Some of them are as follows:

  • Aloe Vera:

    Take aloe vera juice and place it into a small paper cup and freeze it. Once it’s frozen, peel of the paper cup. Use the frozen juice to rub on your puppy’s gums. It helps to ease the discomfort and numbs the pain immediately.

  • Chamomile:

    It has calming effects. It also excellently helps to relax the teething puppy and makes it less anxious. Prepare herbal tea using chamomile, add one tablespoon of the chamomile (dried herb) into one cup of water (hot). Allow the tea to cool down and with the help of syringe (without a needle) squirt the tea into your puppy’s mouth.

  • Cold chew:

    Cold things helps to numb the irritation and pain in the gums. Thus, one can give cold things for puppies to chew on. The simple way one can help for soothing pain is use a frozen rope toy. One can soak the rope toy in the water and place in the freezer. Teething puppy has the sensation for chewing, thus the cold or frozen rope will be comfortable for them to chew on.

  • Chicken broth:

    Another way to soothe your puppy’s gums is by freezing the chicken broth in an ice tray and give it to your puppy to chew. Thus, the cold helps to lower the pain and inflammation from the gums.

  • One can add chamomile oil, a few drops into the water and then soak the rope toy. Chamomile oil has the calming effect on the puppy’s teeth.

These are some of the natural remedies for teething pain in dogs. One can use them, as it works effectively to ease the discomfort.
