As receding gums happen due to weakening of the gum tisuues, strenghtening can help. Supplements for vitamins B&C and minerals like calcium, magnesium, phosporouscan promote healthy gums.

Teeth Brushing Habits:

Often the gum lines recede due to the wearing of enamel located at gum line. This is due to the harsh toothbrush abrasion. If this is a habit of yours, then there is serious need for changing your brushing techniques.

Dental Floss:

This is consider as one of the best way for preventing receding gums. To prevent buildup of food debris between the tooth, dental floss is recommended at least for two times a day.

Toothbrush Selection:

Using a toothbrush that is having a hard bristle is a main culprit for receding gums. Using a soft-bristile is recommended at all time, and remember to change your toothbrush for every three months.

Disclosing Tablets:

Disclosing tables are used to eradicate the plaque. The tablets have a red vegitable dye which stains food particles and the plaque, this helps to clean the teeth properly.
